Our Programmes
At Serious Intentions our programmes cover a wide variety of social issues facing children and young people. Being a child or young person in today’s society and living in an unforgiving environment can be a very harsh experience. The skills we provide will help them to tackle the many challenges they will face, but ultimately it must be that child or young person’s decision to focus and reach for their goals.
The programmes are structured so that each member of the group will gain practical
and theoretical knowledge about a particular life skill. The objective is to enhance
their understanding of that subject, encourage peer interaction and facilitate consideration
of the young person's emotional and psychological reaction in a positive, safe and
thought-
In our experience, young people often feel that they are not being listened to. At Serious Intentions we will give them an opportunity to be heard, to listen and to appreciate alternatives. We also help them to analyse their own opinions, which we will aim to turn into a positive view no matter how negative they may seem.
Please see below for our various Serious Intentions programmes available.
Discovery of Yourself

The Entrepreneur in You
This programme is arranged into a series of eight sessions; these advanced sessions will encourage the young person to ask ‘why’ rather than ‘how’. When you find out the reason why, you discover the purpose, and therefore the focus. This programme is suitable for those young people who are keen on developing entrepreneurial skills and techniques.

The Atlas of a Child's Mind
Working with children and young people can be at times equated to starting on a journey, without being told where you’re actually going. We may feel excited and curious and even reluctant. But, like all journeys a map to help you to identify where you are heading can help you adopt a positive attitude to your journey.
It doesn’t mean you’ll know what will happen on this journey but you’ll be better prepared. This programme aims to be your map. We use PowerPoint, video and role play, ensuring our programmes encompass the VAK(visual, auditory and kinaesthetic) principle of learning.

"Pick & Mix"
All of our programmes are made up of a selection of smaller modules. If you would rather build your own programme, you can do this. Just follow the link below for a full list of our programme modules.
Adult Personal Development Programmes
Serious Intentions believes in helping adults as well as young people to develop purpose, direction and value in their lives. We are working in conjunction with The Success University to support adults to pave their road to prosperity & financial freedom.
Our Mentoring Programmes
Serious Intentions help young people to develop purpose, direction and value in their lives. This is achieved through the delivery of programmes that cover the 3Ps. The 3Ps focus on the crucial points that are vital for a young person's success in life.
The 3Ps Mentoring Programme
Perception of themselves (respect)
Perception of others (peer pressure/bullying)
Perception of their future (motivation/setting and achieving goals)
Our One Day Workshops
Our workshops provide opportunities for young people to draw out their own knowledge and to supplement this knowledge with a realisation that they can make the difference to their own lives, enabling them to make their own choices. These workshops also engage young people in role plays and other dynamic activities, so that they leave the workshops not just with textbook knowledge, but with the experience of acting on that knowledge.
